DAVIDSVILLE — GOOD – Clyde, 85, Davidsville, died March 8, 2013, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born July 26, 1927, the son of Clyde and Ada (Blough) Good Sr. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Emma E. Good; grandson, Michael William Good; and brothers, Robert and Paul Good. Survived by these children: Richard, married to Janet (Redick), Johnstown; Carol, married to Thomas Byer, Davidsville; and William, married to Michele (Weaver), Elkins, W.Va. Also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Slaugenhaupt, Megan Good, David Byer, Gregory Byer, Celeste Cost, Nichole Good and Michael D. Good. Brother of Virgil and Bett Good, Davidsville; Lester and Dorie Good and Betty Shaffer, all of Johnstown; Marjorie and Donald Hoffman, Salix; and Carl and Nancy Good, Bedford; and sisters-in-law, Jean Good, Johnstown, and Mickey Good, Hollsopple. Member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville. He retired as a supervisor from the General Telephone Co. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a former member of the Conemaugh Township Rotary Club. He also was a member of the Pioneers of General Telephone. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed camping and traveling the U.S. Family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville, Pastor N. Gregory Vandyke and Pastor John Eash officiating. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
