Ruth E. Barnouski

SUMMERHILL — BARNOUSKI – Ruth E., 74, formerly of South Fork, died Oct. 13, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Summerhill. Born July 24, 1938, in South Fork, daughter of Robert E. “Teddy” and Ida Mae (Link) Peel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Arthur A. “Abe” Barnouski, who died March 17, 1999; and sister, Jean Gramling. Survived by children, Joseph, married to Kelly Frazer, Salix; Larry “Bunk,” married to Susan Davis, Johnstown; Terri, wife of Tom Malesky, Summerhill; and Matthew, married to Charla Roberts, Johnstown; grandchildren, Joseph “Sam” (Alicia); Kayla (Jesse) Garshnick; Tessa (Kody) Hill; Jebediah; Jilena; Adam; Matthew; Stephen, and his fiancee, Kathleen; Lauren; Allyson; Marissa; Jacob; and Julianna; great-grandchildren, Josef, Hailey and Drew; sisters, Naomi Schrader, Willowick, Ohio; June Leach, South Fork; Shirley Myers, South Fork; Maxine Chaney, Atlantic Beach, Fla.; Joanne Primel, Parma, Ohio; Janice Lydic, Toledo, Ohio; and Billi Rae Moss, South Fork; and brother, John “Ted,” South Fork. Ruth retired from Arbutus Park Manor after 29 years of service.  She was a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork, where she sang in the choir and also a member of the Summerhill Social Club Bowling League. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Pastor Arlene Bobrowicz. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.  (www.dimondfuneralhome.com)
