GABRIEL – Margaret Agnes, 97, Johnstown, died March 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born Aug. 13, 1915, in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Pisarchik) Furnari. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Gabriel, in 1971; brothers John, Frank and Thomas Furnari; and sisters, Helen Gaydos, Mary Yuhas, Anna Ozeck and Dorothy Bambino. Survived by daughter, Mary Frances, wife of Jerry Sandusky, Johnstown; granddaughters, Dr. Amy, wife of Eric Anderson, Johnstown; and Paula, wife of Jeffrey Stossel, Indiana, Pa.; and great-granddaughters, Lauren and Lindsey Anderson. Sister of Joseph Furnari and Agnes Mesnak. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret enjoyed vacationing to Disney World, Myrtle Beach and Atlantic City. Her greatest love was spending time with and taking care of her family; that was most important in her life. She cherished memories of a house full of people during hunting season with extended family, and it was always a place where “Aunt Marg” would have baked goods and home cooked meals. She was a lifelong member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Father Bernard Karmonocky, OFM. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.
