JOHNSTOWN — STEFANKA – William J., 69, Johnstown, passed away Feb. 6, 2012, at home. Born March 17, 1942, in Johnstown, son of John and Margaret (Galus) Stefanka. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Jean Carol. Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Andrea (Kondash) Stefanka; children, Michele, married to Chuck Potter, Germantown, Md.; Denise, married to Shawn Kaputa; and Michael Stefanka, married to Courtney, all of Johnstown; and William Stefanka, married to Pamela, Osterburg, Pa.; and grandchildren, Lori and Amy Keiser, Nick Potter, Cameron and Evan Kaputa and Andrew Stefanka. Also survived by sister, Ethel, married to William Gaspar, Johnstown; and brother, Don Motter, Tucson, Ariz. Also survived by many special nieces, nephews and cousins. William was a wonderful husband, father and pappy. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his family very much. He retired after 34 years as an assistant roller of the Gautier Division of Bethlehem Steel. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Moxham, where vigil service for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Father Matthew A. Reese, officiating. Private committal.
