SOUTHMONT — RINGLER – G. Don, 86, Southmont, died Feb. 3, 2012, at his residence. Born May 7, 1925, in Johnstown, son of the late Grant D. and Ona Mae (Miller) Ringler. Preceded in death by sister, Lois Ringler, and brother, Sheldon Ringler. Survived by loving wife, the former Lucille Naugle; children, David Ringler, Johnstown; Cynthia, married to William O’Connell, Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Melanie, married to Jim Guzzo, Saratoga, Calif.; and grandchildren, Brendan O’Connell, James and Grant Guzzo and Madeline Ringler. Also survived by sisters, Phyllis, married to Jack Colledge, Everett, and Georgia Brown, Bedford. Mr. Ringler was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and co-owner of Ringler Motors for many years. He was a former member and past master of Sunnehanna Lodge and a current member of Johnstown Lodge, F&AM 538, as well as being involved in various Masonic Orders. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westmont Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Doug Stevens, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in Don’s memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., West Hills.
