HOOVERSVILLE — YANOSKY – James W. “Killer,” 62, Hooversville, died July 30, 2012. Born Nov. 12, 1949, son of the late John and Helen (Roch) Yanosky. Survived by wife, the former Karen Walker; children, Mark, Lynda, James Jr., Steve, John and Dawn; grandchildren, Tracy, Thomas, Kayla, Zane, Ceara, Shawn, Jared, Alexis, Chloe, Hannah and Ashlynn. Brother of John, Carol, Janet and Kathie. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved dog, Rooq. U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. An avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Unity United Church of Christ, the Rev. Jay Shaffer, officiating. Interment, Glade Cemetery. Military rites by Central City American Legion and VFW Posts. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make donations to the family.
