JOHNSTOWN — KAUFFMAN – Doris A., 85, Johnstown, died Feb. 24, 2013, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Sept. 17, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Harry and Ethel Mae (Good) Stiffler. Preceded in death by husband, Homer Kauffman Jr.; and sister, Winefred Beam. Survived by daughter, Sandra Garland, and husband, Winsome, Johnstown; son, James Kauffman, married to Holly, Greensburg; grandchildren, Matthew Kauffman and Amy Peterson; great-grandchildren, Silas, Jacob, Amie, Lili, Ella, Tessa and Owen Peterson; and Tanner Kauffman; and sister, Nancy Lint, Hummellstown. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Arbutus Park Chapel, Pastor Don Poole, officiating. Committal, Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Arbutus Park Retirement Community in memory of Doris.
