Patricia Louise Lytle

LANCASTER — LYTLE – Patricia Louise, 85, Lancaster, formerly of Lilly, passed away Feb. 21, 2013, at home from natural causes. She was born June 29, 1927, in Lilly, daughter of Albert and Lillie (Hermsdorfer) McMullen. She married Hallam Lytle on Nov. 27, 1948, in Lilly. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Hal; grandson, Jeffrey Lytle Jr.; and brother, Robert McMullen. She is survived by son, Jeff, and wife, Cathy (Smith); daughters, Cindy, and husband, Len Snowberger; and Geri, and husband, Denny Lazar, with whom she resided; and grandchildren, Lisa (Lytle), and husband, Jim Stahlman; Ryan, and wife, Tiffany (Hannakan) Lytle; Danielle (Lytle), and husband, Matt Anderson; Angela (Snowberger), and husband, Bryan Loose; Tracy Snowberger; and Aaron, and wife, Sarah (Lively) Lazar. She also is survived by sister, Doris, and husband, Ken Altmanshofer; cousin, Emma Claar; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was instrumental in bringing the bookmobile to Lilly and starting the Lilly-Washington Public Library and the Lilly Senior Citizens Group. She was past president of Lilly Legion auxiliary and the Lilly Volunteer Fire Company auxiliary. She was organist at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for many years. Pat volunteered for many organizations including Guardian Angels when she lived in Cape Coral, Fla. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Lilly, Pastor John Palko, officiating. Committal will be private.
