JOHNSTOWN — HOWARD – Martha M., 94, Johnstown, died Oct. 4, 2012, at the Presbyterian Home. Born May 25, 1918, in Clearfield, daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Hutchings) Hunt. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis Donald Howard; son, Joseph Frank; granddaughter, Courtney Howard Reed; three brothers; and three sisters. Survived by daughter, Dawn, wife of Charles Mamula, Johnstown; daughter-in-law, Esther (Howard) Pavarnik, Latrobe; grandchildren, J.B. Howard, and wife, Elizabeth, North Carolina; Amanda Coup, and husband, Kenneth, Gibsonia; Christopher Mamula, and wife, Kimberly, Johnstown; and Scott Mamula, Johnstown; and 13 great-grandchildren, and expecting her 14th in October. She was a member of Moxham Colonial Church of the Brethren. Friends received from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Pastor William Wenger, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Presbyterian Home.
