JOHNSTOWN — RIBARIC – Mary Catherine “Penny,” 82, Johnstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family June 22, 2012, at home. Born Sept. 28, 1929, daughter of Mary Ann Laco, and husband, Wasyl Puniak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Anthony, who died in 2008; brother, Michael T. Kuhar; and brother-in-law, Charles Burkhart. Survived by children, Ronald A. Ribaric; Thomas A., and wife, Jill (Vickroy) Ribaric; Barbara A., and husband, Edward Cominsky; Theresa M., and husband, Kenneth Wills; Anthony M. Ribaric; and Karen L., and husband, David Klimaszewski; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Nicholas Kuhar, and wife, Jeannie (Muffley); Margaret Burkhart; and Joanne, and husband, Robert Ondick; sister-in-law, Delores O’Gorman; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mary worked for many years as a waitress in numerous Johnstown restaurants. Member of Fountain of Life Ministries. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid bingo player. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moskal Funeral Home, West End, where the Rev. John Mains will hold a funeral service at 8 p.m. Wednesday. A family committal service will be held at a later date.
