Ann Bellish

COLVER — BELLISH – Ann, 96, Colver, died Aug. 1, 2012, at home. Born March 4, 1916, in  Nanty Glo, daughter of Gnat and Nancy (Kuncho) Berkoski. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Stephen; brothers, Mike, George, John and Peter Berkoski; and a  sister, Miriam Maul. Survived by children, Stephen Bellish Jr., Levittown; Eugene Bellish, Colver; and Shirley Sodano, Holly Springs, N.C.; two grandchildren; five great-grand children; and one great-great-grandchild. Sister of Andrew Berkoski and Catherine Berkoski, both of Colver; Julia Speicher, Mount Laurel, N.J.; and Mildred Laurillard, Hanover, N.J. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was raised in Colver. She moved to New Jersey in the late 1950s, eventually settling in Roselle Park, N.J., where she worked and lived until her retirement in 1985 when she  returned to Colver. No public viewing or visitation at Ann’s request. A private funeral service will be conducted at Holy Name Cemetery Mausoleum by the Rev.  Bernard Grega. Entombment at the mausoleum. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the hospice nurses for all their loving care at this difficult time. Donations can be made to Horizone Hospice, 309 E. Plank Road, Altoona, Pa. 16602, in Ann’s memory. Funeral arrangements by Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
