NORTHERN CAMBRIA —
STAVISH – Nancy J., 66, Northern Cambria, passed away Nov. 17, 2012, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 26, 1946, in Spangler, daughter of Peter and Margaret (Mirolak) Bogel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John E. Stavish, who died June 2, 2009; sisters and brother-in-laws, Rose and Joseph Benko and Florence and John Phillips; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Catherine (Ferrence) Stavish; and sister-in-law, Margaret Stavish. Survived by son and his girlfriend, John P. Stavish and Danielle Buck, Northern Cambria. Sister of Margaret (George) Devlin, Beaver Falls; Pete Bogel, Hastings; and Paul (Judy) Bogel, Northern Cambria. Also survived by sister-in-law, Betty Stavish, Northern Cambria, and brother-in-law, William (Pamela) Stavish, Hastings. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, and spending most of her time with her sister, Marge, and niece, Georgette Douglas, and their families. Formerly employed by Van Heusen Shirt Factory, Barnesboro American Legion and Philadelphia Street Inn. Nancy’s family would like to thank the medical, surgical and nursing staffs in the TIC Unit, especially Dr. Daly, Robin, Lauren, Jess, Jessie, Jeff and Eric for their wonderful care and treatment during Nancy’s short stay at the hospital. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, Father Andrew Clark, officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
