WINDBER — WEAVER – Erma Mae, 94, Church of the Brethren Home, formerly of Oakland and the Johnstown area, died Dec. 22, 2012, at her residence. She lived most of her life in the Sidman/Salix area. Born May 3, 1918, in New Paris, Bedford County, daughter of George C. and Elsie M. (McVicker) Beisel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clyde A.; daughter, Sarah Jean (Weaver) Anglero; sister, La Verna, and her husband, George I. Thomas; brothers, Jacob C., and his wife, Mildred P. (Knavel) Beisel, Charles I. and Harry C. Beisel; and sister-in-law, Opal C. (Gramling) Beisel. Survived by daughter, Flora M., married to Robert J. Noll, Johnstown; brother, Robert F., Johnstown; grandchildren, David C., married to Shannon (Henne) Anglero, Pittsburgh; Jennifer L. (Noll), married to Thomas Alan Volek Jr., Pittsburgh, and Rebecca M. (Noll), married to Eric J. Brunberg, North Brunswick, N.J.; great-grandchildren, Grant and Vivienne Volek; sisters-in-law, Betty E. (Bauer) Beisel, Johnstown, and Bertha Weaver, Abbeville, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; making picture albums for her family; keeping family history through pictures and newspaper articles; working in flower gardens; reading, especially her daily Bible reading; and word searches and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed visits from her niece, Reginia Deffenbaugh, and good friends, Russ and Audry Grasser, and visits and help from her niece, Sharron, and her husband, James Hess. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren and former member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Ronald Barto and the Rev.
