JOHNSTOWN — HODOS – Evangeline Louise, 82, Upper Yoder, died Dec. 30, 2012, at home. Born Nov. 28, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of George A. and Susana (Hrbal) Hanuscak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul J. Hodos Sr.; sisters, Lucy Ruth Satchik, Anna Naworal, Mary Hodos and Margaret Migut; and brothers, Francis Hanuscak and Raymond Hodos. Evangeline was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Mary Lou Hodos, Johnstown; Paul J. Jr., married to Barbara (Fabina), Ligonier; and Janet, wife of Larry Bombatch; Ruth Hodos; and Robert, married to Beverly (Snoby), all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Tonya Harbaugh, wife of Bradley; Marli Hodos, Virginia; Jacob Hodos, Hummelstown; David, married to Debbie (Oravec), Johnstown; Paul N. Hodos, married to Renee (Suarez), Washington, D.C.; and Evan Hodos, New York; and great-grandchildren, Courtney and Cara Harbaugh; and Joseph, Selena and Alexander Hodos. Member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., Johnstown, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars, OFM, Conv. Committal, church cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Vincent de Paul Family Kitchen, 927 Franklin St., Johnstown, Pa. 15901, in memory of Evangeline.
