Earl G. Layton

HARRISBURG — LAYTON – Earl G. “Red,” 86, Harrisburg, formerly of Johnstown, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his home. Born March 8, 1926, in Johnstown. He was a milkman for 30 years, a retired owner and operator of Layton’s Concessions of Johnstown, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by son, Danny Layton. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Ethel M. Layton; children, Donna Mae Mainier, Harrisburg; Philip Layton, and wife, Donna, New Oxford; Pam Miller, Harrisburg; and Patty Tessari, and husband, Tony, Johnstown; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
