HOOVERSVILLE — PETREE – Mary L. (Sebesta), 68, Hooversville, Paint Township, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 8, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 27, 1944, in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Bruno) Sebesta. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Margaret Svencer and Dorothy Mesnak; and brother, Anthony. Survived by husband of 47 years, George W. III; daughter, Tina Marie, married to Timothy Todd Taylor Jr., Hagerstown, Md., and their children, Trista Marie and Taren Todd; son, George Alan, married to April Lynn (Kelly), Apollo, Pa., and their children, George William IV and Samantha Louise; sisters, Helen Graham, Johnstown; Dolores Hoehne, Hackensack, Minn.; Barbara, married to Robert Mento, Cresson; and Elizabeth, married to Carl Michaels, South Fork; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Mary will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends. Member of Cathedral of St. John Gualbert, Johnstown, and St. Anne Catholic Church Ladies Guild, Davidsville. She was a volunteer for St. Francis Sharing and Caring, Hollsopple, and Hollsopple Food Pantry. Former employee of Church of the Brethren Home, Scalp Level. Mary enjoyed gardening, camping, crocheting and doing crafts. Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 6 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of St. John, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston, celebrant. Committal, Richland Cemetery.
