Emma Snow Jacobs

BOLIVAR — JACOBS – Emma “Pink” Snow, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines, N.C. Born in December 1918, to Ethel and John Morley Snow of Johnstown. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she met and later married James J. Jacobs, also of Johnstown, who died in March of 2006. The couple retired to North Carolina in 1975. Survived by son, Phil Jacobs, and wife, Jenny, Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Elayne Edwards, and husband, Buddy, Danville, Ky.; daughter, Barbara Ficklin, and husband, Bill, Pinehurst, N.C.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
