HOLLSOPPLE — KAUFMAN– June C. (Thomas) Leventry, 87, Hollsopple, died Jan. 18, 2013, at The Patriot, Somerset. Born June 15, 1925, in Hollsopple, daughter of Edward and Estella (Holsopple) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Howard Leventry; second husband, Clark Kaufman; son, Terry Leventry; and sisters, Zetta Deal and Lillian and Goldie Thomas. Survived by children, Robert Leventry, Hollsopple; Patricia Leventry, Hollsopple; and David Leventry, married to Deborah (Stayrook), Somerset; grandson, Joseph Leventry, married to Jennifer (Perrin), Pittsburgh; brother, Robert Thomas, married to Ruth (Mills), Hollsopple; and her pet dog, Willie. A graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Retired employee of former Whistler’s Garment Factory, Hollsopple. Member of Windber Church of the Nazarene and the ILGWU. June enjoyed camping, doing crafts and spending time with family. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Pastor Donald Eller presiding.
