WARREN, OHIO — CARSON – Zella, 97, Warren, Ohio, formerly of Bakerton, passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at Windsor House of Champion, Warren. Born March 28, 1915, in Bakerton, daughter of Ruben and Rose (Dowey) West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Survived by daughter, Linda W. (Donald) Maurer, Warren, Ohio; grandchildren, Wendy, John David, Danny, Don and Stacie; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Larry West, Clearwater, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Zella retired from the housekeeping department at Miners Medical Center after many years of service. Member of Bakerton United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at noon Saturday at Bakerton United Methodist Church, the Rev. Linda Lacovic, officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
