HEBEBRAND – Gladys “Goldie,” 100, Windber, passed away Feb. 2, 2013, at Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Dec. 15, 1912, in Windber, daughter of Michael and Jennie Szep. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Russell; and siblings, Mike, Julie, Irene and Mary Szep, Joseph, Steve and Frank Homway and Marie Rodgers. Survived by siblings, Edith Ronald, Alice Laney and Edward Homway. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Former member St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Windber. Goldie was born in Windber and moved to Cleveland, Ohio, for employment at an early age. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Father Leonard E. Voytek, officiating.
