RICHLAND — INSTONE – Doreen M., 67, Richland, died Feb. 7, 2013, at home. Born June 26, 1945, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Richard G. and Dorothy E. (Schlosser) Yeager. Preceded in death by the love of her life, John F. “Jack” Instone. Survived by the joy of her life, sons, John R., married to Lynn (Sorchilla), Johnstown; Scott D., married to Paulette (Klimek), Richland; and Craig M., married to Kristen (Kohan), Richland; and the light of her life, grandchildren, Kaileigh, Katie, Nicole, Morgan, Collin, Abby, Jackie and Sadie; and great-grandson, Jude. Sister of Richard C. Yeager, husband of Carol (Betts), Richland; and Donna Krill, Richland. Sister-in law of Doris and Bill Colvin and Shirley and Barry Reed. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A 1963 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1966. She was a retired registered nurse from Arbutus Park Manor with 23 years of service. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Doreen lived for her sons’ and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Church, Father David S. Peles, pastor, and the Very Rev. Father James F. Crookston, celebrant. Committal, St. Johns Cemetery, Geistown. Doreen greatly appreciated all her family and friends for their support for the last three years. Family suggests donations to Bishop McCort High School in the name of Doreen M. Instone to establish a trust fund to help students going through difficult times when families are dealing with cancer and other health issues.
