JOHNSTOWN — DeCOSKE – Helen E., 86, Johnstown, died Feb. 7, 2013, at Latrobe Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Sept. 24, 1926, in Johnstown, daughter of George J. and Mary (Yuran) Salinger. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James A. DeCoske; and brothers, George, Joseph, Mark, Frank Theodore and Charles Salinger. Survived by children, Thomas, married to the former Elise Martin, Connecticut; James W., Johnstown; Donna, wife of Robert Scarff, Johnstown; Mark, married to the former Roseann Horner, Bushkill, Pa.; John, and special friend, Greg Grove, Johnstown; Joseph, Johnstown; and Christopher, married to the former Claudia Stasko, Pittsburgh; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosella Troxell, California. Helen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Cambria City Community Association. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Franciscan Friars, OFM, Conv.
