WESTMONT — WESNER – Raymond L., 30, Westmont, went to be with the Lord Feb. 7, 2013. Born Oct. 2, 1982, in Johnstown, survived by his parents, Philip “Ben” and Victoria (McAlister) Wesner. Brother of Daniel; Stephen; Joan, married to Matthew Dill, Johnstown; and Nicholas, married to Kristen, New Jersey; nieces, Julia, Anne and Lauren; nephew, Lewis; and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Raymond was a 2000 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 2009 graduate of IUP. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and served as sergeant, two tours of duty in Operation Iraq Freedom. He received many honors and medals including the Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal W Star and Joint Meritorious Unit Award. He was a loving son, brother and friend to many and will be sadly missed. Friends received from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown. Family and friends will meet for a funeral Mass at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly. Private interment at Grandview Cemetery.
