Frances M. Studt

MIDDLETOWN — STUDT – Frances M., 85, Middletown, formerly of Johnstown, passed away Feb. 23, 2013, at Middletown Home. Born March 10, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank E. and Alberta M. (Butz) Goss. Preceded in death by husband, James Studt, and brother, Paul A. Goss. Survived by loving children, James Studt Jr., married to Jenece, Middletown; Kathleen Deck, married to Philip, Pipersville; David Studt, and companion, Michelle Crosson, Etters; and Ann Hovanec, and companion, Joe Hadbabane, Mount Alto. Also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Frances was an active member of Middletown Moose, Middletown Historical Society and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Middletown, Pa. Former member of Moxham Lutheran Church. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Moxham. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Moxham Lutheran Church, Rev. Dr. Robert R. Wagner, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
