JOHNSTOWN — BUCHOVECKY– Catherine, 87, Johnstown, died March 1, 2013. Born Aug. 21, 1925, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Radacovsky) Buchovecky. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Jr. Catherine was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by many cousins, family and friends. Catherine was a lifelong member of Christ the Saviour Cathedral, where she was a Sunday school teacher when she was a younger woman. She was a retired teacher from the Greater Johnstown School District, teaching most of her career at Garfield Junior High School. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End, where the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro will hold Panachida service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. Email condolences may be sent via moskal-reidfh.com.
