JOHNSTOWN — KIME – Richard John Sr., 83, Johnstown, went to be with his Lord March 17, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 30, 1929, in Altoona, son of the late John Earl and Florence Katherine (Henchey) Kime. Preceded in death by son, Ronald James Kime; brothers, Robert and William Kime; and sister, Eileen Betts. Survived by wife, the former Miriam E. Moore; son, Richard John Jr., and wife, Charlotte, Johnstown; grandchildren, Randi Yingling and Kevin Kime; Jennifer Kime; Mindy Papinchak, and husband, Dave; and Kristi Sherow, and husband, Jim; and great-grandchildren, Kyler, and Rylan Yingling and Mason Papinchak. Richard was a brakeman and engineer for Conemaugh Blacklick Railroad for 37 years with Bethlehem Steel. Member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., the Rev. Kathleen Schoeneck, officiating.
