ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLA. — HAMP– Joseph Louis, 91, passed away peacefully March 7, 2013, at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, Fla. Born March 25, 1921, in Johns- town, son of the late Rudolph Oliver Hamp and Marie Frick Hamp. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Jean (Kane) Hamp, two sisters and four brothers. Survived by children, Marian, married to Scott Kephart, East Freedom, Pa., and Nanciellen, married to Phillip Ulerich, Longwood, Fla. Also survived by grandchildren, Melissa, married to Michael McMullen, Altoona, and Joseph Ulerich, Glen Burnie, Md., and a great-granddaughter, Danielle McMullen. Joseph was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1982 and lived on Cedar Street in Johnstown until 2008. Joseph was a dedicated, caring father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who touched his life. Memorial service will be held in Longwood, Fla. Interment, St. John Gualbert Cemetery.
