RICHARDSON, TEXAS — HAWISZCZAK – Stefan, 89, formerly of Johnstown, passed away Sept. 30, 2012, in Richardson, Texas. Born Oct. 11, 1922, in Borislav, Ukraine. Survived by wife, Olga; sons, Robert and Steve; and grandsons, Andrew and Matthew. He resided in Johnstown from 1952 to 2004, where he was shop foreman for Thiele Truck Bodies, Windber, until his retirement in 1987. Long-term member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Johnstown. He moved to Texas in 2004 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Richardson, Texas.
