JOHNSTOWN — RERKO – Vivian Ruth, 83, Johnstown, died Oct. 5, 2012, in Monroeville, with her daughters, Denise and Patricia, by her side. Born Feb. 15, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Mary (Horvath) Conjack. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 46 years, James Rerko; brother, Raymond; and sister-in-law, Barbara. She leaves, with broken hearts, her children, Denise (Sam) Hendren, Keeseville, N.Y.; James (Iris), Fayetteville, N.C.; Robert, Boonsboro, Md.; Patricia (Jerry) Eisenberg, Monroeville; and David (Laurie), Frederick, Md.; grandchildren, Aaron and Rachel Eisenberg, Monroeville; and Katie and Christopher, Fredrick, Md.; and sister, Dorothy, Palos Park, Ill. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Church. Vivian was so happy to celebrate her sister Dorothy’s 90th birthday at a gala weekend hosted by her nephew in May with many of the family in attendance. Vivian was proud of her children and will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother and sister. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., Father William E. Rosenbaum, officiating. Inurnment, Grandview Cemetery. Our mother loved fresh flowers but believed they were for the living.
