HOLLIDAYSBURG — BERGER – Bernard L. Jr., 51, Hollidaysburg, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at his residence. Born Jan. 12, 1961, in Johnstown, son of Bernard L. Berger Sr. and Angela (Svidich) Berger-Amps. Survived by wife of 12 years, Cathy Clarke, whom he married in 2000; mother, Angela Berger-Amps, Sidman; daughters, Ashley, and fiance, Brian; and Ariana, both at home; sister, Kimberly Berger, and husband, Randy Johnson, Maryland; and favorite aunt, Agnes Berger, Johnstown. A 1978 graduate of Johnstown High School. He retired as a route driver for various vending companies. Member of Cambria Lodge 278 F&AM, where he was a past master of the lodge; Valley of Altoona, Lodge of Perfection; and Jaffa Shrine. Faithful member of First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg, where he was an usher and made daily visits to shut-ins and hospital patients. He enjoyed going to NASCAR races, spending time at the beach and was an avid Steelers fan. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, where Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg, the Rev.
