JOHNSTOWN — GROVE – Margaretta “Basy,” 83, died Oct. 28, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 27, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of the late William E. Sr. and Alma I. (Keafer) Green. Preceded in death by husband, Harry G. Grove Sr.; an infant son; and sisters and brother, Helen Green, Mary Schellhammer, Ethel Livingston, William Green Jr. and Emma Grace Bee. Survived by children, Vicki, married to Reed Drummond, Hollsopple; Harry G. Jr., and wife, the former Pauline Glessner, Boswell; and Sherry, married to Thomas Redick, Hollsopple; grandchildren, Travis S. Horner, and fiancee, Brandy Eash; and Emily King, Atlanta, Ga.; and sisters, Catherine Hack and Elizabeth Pudliner, both of Johnstown. Also survived by beloved companion, “Dolly.” Basy was an LPN for Lee Hospital. At the request of the family, service will be private. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
