Fabio L. Kantz

DAVIDSVILLE — KANTZ – Fabio L., 76, Davidsville, died Oct. 29, 2012, at home. Born June 20, 1936, in Johnstown, son of the late Anthony and Virginia (Nardecchia) Kantz. Preceded in death by wife in 1991, Mary Jane (Ceryak) Kantz; brother, Anthony; and sisters, Alma Todero and Sophie Micholick. Survived by sons, Kevin, Davidsville; and Daniel, married to the former Donna Christner, Elizabethtown; and grandchildren, Nichole; and Christopher, and wife, Marissa. Also survived by sister, Esther Bunn, and husband, Pat, Philadelphia; and sister-in-law and friend, Bonna Jean Ceryak, Johnstown. Fabio was a U.S. Marine and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and U.S. Steel, and drove charter buses. Member of All Saints Assembly, Knights of Columbus, Council 8979, having been a 4th Degree Knight. Fabio also was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Angelo Patti. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
