Centennial, Colo. — ROGERS – Dona Hartland, 72, Centennial, Colo., passed away peacefully Nov. 5, 2012, in her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Johnstown, daughter of Norman and Faye Hartland. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Hartland; and husband, James Harvey Rogers. She is survived by her children, Jim Rogers Jr., Scott Rogers, Sharon Rogers and Karen Buland, and husband, Daryl; sister, Charlotte Richardson; five grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Becky, Hallie and Dona; and numerous other loving family members. Her two dogs, Skippy and Maggie, have joined her in Heaven. In addition to being a super wife and mom, Dona worked as a bookkeeper in various offices in Pennsylvania and Texas. She was an incredibly talented artist and decorator. She loved to laugh, and her laughter was utterly contagious. Dona enjoyed life, family, traveling, her dogs, and Christmas. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Johnstown, Pa. 15904, with the Rev. Gary Mosorjak officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at the Westmont Church of the Brethren, 2301 Sunshine Ave., Johnstown.
