Theodore Larson Westin Sr.

CRESSON — WESTIN – Theodore Larson Sr., 76, Cresson, died Nov. 10, 2012, at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 10, 1936, in North Braddock, son of the late Anton and Sarah (Linsenbigler) Westin. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Rose Mae Westin, and brothers and sisters. Beloved husband of Edna Mae (Stiffler) Westin; loving father of Theodore Jr. and Mary Beth (Baish) Westin, Cresson, and Christine and David Sartori, Pittsburgh; and proud grandfather of Hannah and Sarah Westin and Maria and Anna Sartori. Also survived by sisters, Constance Nardone, New Castle, and Lillian Cupp, Philadelphia, and nieces and nephews. Received a master's degree in music from IUP and touched many lives as Penn Cambria music teacher. Lifelong member of the Presbyterian faith. Served with the Pennsylvania National Guard. Was an associate broker, broker/appraiser and office manager of Westin Real Estate & Tax Service, Cresson. Also owner of Westin’s Windmill Antiques, Cresson. Life member of Cresson Volunteer Fire Department. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to time of service  at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, the Rev.  Paul Zomerfeld. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cresson Volunteer Fire Department. Cresson Firemen’s memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
