Helen L. (Unger) Koloinski

BOSWELL — KOLINSKI – Helen L. (Unger), 82, Boswell, died Oct. 13, 2012, at her home. Born Nov. 2, 1929, in Jerome, daughter of Bruce and Elizabeth (Stevens) Unger. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond L. Sr., on June 6, 2004; grandson, Edward R. Matsko Jr.; sisters, Elsie Burkett and Mary Unger; and brothers, Paul, Lester and Richard. Survived by children, Brenda L. Stevenson, and fiance, Barry Lehman, Jenner Township; Roxane R., married to Edward R. Matsko Sr., Jennerstown; and Raymond L. Jr., at home; grandchildren, Travis Stevenson and Austin Matsko; great-grandson, Trevor Stevenson; sister, Dorothy Pugh, Gray; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and special pet dog, Taffy. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown; Silver Sneakers; and Boswell Senior Center. Former employee of Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell.  Helen enjoyed crocheting, knitting and taking walks around Boswell.  The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, Davita Dialysis and Conemaugh Home Health for all their compassionate care. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Trinity Church, Pastor Traci Bowman, presiding. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery, Jerome.
