CASSATA – Lena, 97, Johnstown, died Oct. 25, 2012. Born July 4, 1915, in Johnstown, daughter of Angelo and Maria (Gulino) Manganello. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael, who died in 1985; infant son, James; brothers, Joseph, Samuel, James and infant, Samuel; and sisters, Rose and Josephine. Survived by sons, Donald, at home, and fiancee, Betsy Savering; Michael, married to the former Carol E. Hubbard, Harrisburg; grandsons, Gabriel and Noah; and sister, Helen Royko, Cleveland, Ohio. Lena was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will always be loved and never forgotten. She loved cooking, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family. Friends received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Lena was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where funeral Mass will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Very Rev.
