JOHNSTOWN — MARTIN – Marie, 61, Johnstown, was called to be with the Lord March 4, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 18, 1951, daughter of the Rev. Thomas and Dora Evan Smith. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Martin; and brothers, Richard and Wilson L. Smith. She is survived by her children, Min. Michael Martin Jr. (U.S. Army, Europe), and wife, Lana; Monica Martin,Johnstown; Min. Maurice Martin, and wife, Tahesha, Altoona; Matthew J. Martin, Lawrenceville, Ga.; nine grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carrie, and husband, Clarence Black, Johnstown; Elder Robert E. Smith, and wife, Gilda, Flint, Mich.; Lacy Newberry, El Paso, Texas; Mary Smith, Thomas Smith Jr. and David Smith, all of Johnstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marie was a member of the Undenominational House of God under the spiritual leadership of Bishop David March. She was born again and spirit filled with the evidence of speaking in tongues in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End. Homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Undenominational House of God, Bishop David March officiating. Committal, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
