JOHNSTOWN — HASCHAK – Julia (Ondrejik), 93, formerly of Franklin Borough, entered into God’s eternal Care Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Laurel View Village. Born Sept. 22, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Julia (Lickvar) Ondrejik. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband of 53 years, John “Hackey” Haschak; infant son, John David Haschak; stepmother, Theresa (Cyvulka) Ondrejik; sisters, Anna Ragan and Martha Klatt; and brothers, Nicholas, John and Charles Ondrejik. Survived by loving children, Danella, Pittsburgh; Michael, married to the former Sandra Eger, Vinco; Dr. Judith, M.D., married to Dr. Thomas Figura, DDS, Pittsburgh; and Sharon, widow of the late Joseph Streletz, Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Attorney John Haschak, Dr. David Haschak, Bethany Schilling, Julianne Groetsch, Dr. Andrew Figura, Adam Figura, Maribeth Kirk, Gregory Streletz, Christia Streletz and Alissa Streletz Kissler; and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Ondrejik of Johnstown. Julia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her devotion to the Lord and the love of her family were the greatest joys of her life. She especially enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her grandkids. Member of SNPJ Bowling League and Sweet Adeline Singing Society. Julia was an avid gardener, loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. Along with her late husband, John, they were co-owners of Hackey’s Market in Franklin Borough since 1941. Lifetime member of Christ the Saviour Cathedral. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where a brief service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. at Christ the Saviour Cathedral, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Panachida will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
