JOHNSTOWN — CAMPBELL – Betty Lou, 79, Johnstown, died Oct. 2, 2012, at St. Jude Haven. Born Aug. 14, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of William and Zella (Anderson) Valentine. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Marlene Valentine. Survived by children, Deborah L. Boss, married to Dan Horner, New Jersey; Dennis S. Campbell Sr., married to the former Lynne Fox, Johnstown; and Brenda S. Campbell, and fiance, Warren Whitmyer, Johnstown; grandchildren, Kristie L. Campbell, Dennis S. Campbell Jr., Ashley N. Owens and Sarah N. Owens; brother, Glenn Riddell, married to Hazel; and sisters, Jane Rogalla, Johnstown; and Linda Rager, Johnstown. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church and GBU of Pittsburgh, and was active in the Johnstown Amvets. Retired from the former Troy Laundry. A U.S. Navy veteran and was a Westmont Hilltop graduate. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Jeffrey Popson. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Betty’s family would like to thank all of their special friends at St. Jude Haven for caring for their mother.
