JOHNSTOWN — MYERS – Donald J., 81, Clapboard Run Road, Johnstown, died July 28, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born June 27, 1929, in Ehrenfeld, son of Harry and Eva (Rose) Myers.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary T. (Titek) Myers, who died May 18, 2004; twin sons, John J. and Donald J.; sister, Betty Susko; twin brother, Ronald; and brothers, Lester and Charles Myers.  Survived by daughter, Julia Ann, wife of Skip Wavrek, Johnstown; sisters, Margaret Smay, Sidman, and Diana Cummings, Summerhill; brothers, Robert, Harry and Paul, all of South Fork, and  Devon “Arky”; and special friend, Leonard Seese, Michigan.  Don served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, for which he was awarded two bronze stars.  He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Gautier Division. Don played baseball for many years in the Industrial League.  He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Summerhill. A member and trustee of South Fork VFW, Post 7524, and a member of  St. Michael American Legion Post 551. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church by Father Alfred Patterson, OSB.  Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Germany.
