JOHNSTOWN — SCHULTZ – William E. Jr., 87, Johnstown, passed away Oct. 9, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 14, 1925, in Johnstown, son of William E. Sr. and Meta (Erdmann) Schultz. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John and Donald; nephews, Jack and Donald Schultz; sister-in-law, Laura Schultz; and brother-in-law, David Boes. Survived by wife of 64 years, Catherine M. (Kozora); children, William James, and friend, Cara Bettle, Johnstown; Barbara Jean, married to William Pavlick, Keswick, Va.; and Barry, married to Connie Radnoti, Johnstown; sister, Patricia Boes, Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Schultz, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric and Brian Pavlick, William Schultz, Amy Schultz and Melinda Ryan, and their mother, Patricia; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ryleigh Pavlick, Amelia Rose Ryan and Joseph Ryan. Member of St. Therese Catholic Church and National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 451. He retired after 36 years of service from the U.S. Postal Service, Johnstown. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Upper Decker Avenue, Father Bernard Karmanocky, officiating. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice in Bill’s name. John Henderson Co. Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
