HOLLSOPPLE — GREIG – Mosheim W. “Mossy,” 88, Hollsopple, died July 19, 2012, at Windber Medical Center. Born Jan. 9, 1924, in Jenners, son of James and Florence (Walters) Greig. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, James, and wife, Elizabeth; and Herbert, and wife, Verna. Survived by wife of 67 years, the former Betty Maggs; and children, Sally, married to Terry Wain, Ravenna, Ohio; Don, married to the former Donna Jones, Hollsopple; and Diana Alwine, Columbus, Ohio. Also survived by grandchildren, Matthew Wain, Holly Hendershot, Donny Greig, Bethany Pullins, Dannielle Greig and Christopher Alwine; and great-grandchildren, Justin Wain, Kylee Greig, Tyler Hendershot, Jacob Greig and Josie Pullins; also great-great-grandson, Justin Wain. Brother-in-law of Ida Mae and George Ellis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mossy was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where he was very active. He was a former truck driver for Wilson Trucking and was a member of Million Mile Club. He drove van for Head Start and the senior citizens in Conemaugh Township Somerset County. Member and past president of the former Johnstown Chapter of the Ostomy Club, and was president to the Custer Cemetery Association for many years. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple, the Rev. Edward C. Patterson, officiating. Interment, Custer Cemetery.
