PORTAGE — McVICKER – Mrs. Betty Jean (Kerr), 82, Portage, entered into new life Nov. 16, 2012, at Select Specialty. Born March 31, 1930, in Portage, daughter of Elmer W. and Evelyn L. (Burkey) Kerr. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond E.; brother, Wilburne “Sonny” Kerr; and brothers-in-law, Alvin Steeg and Robert Fisher. Survived by sons, Raymond, married to the former Sarah “Sally” Clark, Allison Park, Pa.; and Mark E., married to the former Lori Moll, Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and grandchildren, Trisha, Daniel and Matthew. Sister of Dorothy Steeg, Virginia Beach, Va.; William Kerr, Johnstown; and Sharon Fisher, Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Mary Ann Long, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
