JOHNSTOWN — EMEIGH – Mary C., 94, Johnstown, died Nov. 18, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 28, 1918, in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Cecilia (Kalcher) Shramka. Preceded in death by parents; husband, David D.; brother, John; infant brother, Joseph; sister, Margaret Balog; and great-granddaughter, Ella Riley. Survived by children, Daniel D., Northern Cambria; Janet (Glenn Hershberger), Johnstown; and David D. Jr. (Teresa Dalby), Annapolis, Md. Also survived by grandchildren, Mary Anne Shirley, Daniel and David Emeigh; Glenn M. Hershberger; Amy Riley; Jessica McGowan; and Alison, Shawn and Mary Catherine Emeigh; and great-grandchildren, Holly and James Shirley; Cassie and Autumn Hershberger; Hunter, Benjamin and Asher Riley; Ryan McGowan; and Conner; and Ava Antenelli. Sister of Eleanor (Jack Henning), Johnstown. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Retired from St. Clement Church. She was an angel and a blessing on earth to family and everyone who knew her. We will always remember her stories that she told of her 94 years, and her many unique phrases she came up with. She was an avid bingo player at Valley Pike Manor, where she had many friends. She was loved so much, and will be missed for the sweet, caring person that she was. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, the Rev. Matthew Reese. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.
