MULBERRY, FLA. — KOOP – Richard Henry, 86, died Nov. 28, 2012, in Mulberry, Fla. He was the son of Max A. and Theresa J. (Rosetzky) Koop. “Dick” was a longtime Johnstown businessman. As a part owner and salesman of Koop Beauty Supply, he and his father, Max, and his brother, Robert, operated the business for close to 50 years. Dick also was owner of Altoona Beauty School and was a representative for Sunbury Beauty/Ocean’s Salon System before retiring to Mulberry, Fla., with wife, Sharon Rogus Koop; son, Gregory; and daughter, Kazlene, in 2004. Dick will be lovingly missed by wife, Sharon; son, Gregory; daughter, Kazlene; along with his daughters, Katherine Stephenson, wife of Richard, Johnstown, and Beth Koop, Clarksville, Tenn. He was the proud grandparent of Katherine Koop, Pittsburgh, and Christopher Koop, Johnstown, children of his deceased son, Richard A. Koop, and Nicholas and Teresa Muccigrosso, Orlando, Fla., children of Beth. Dick was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250. A private family service is planned for Dec. 8, at his home in Mulberry, Fla. Condolences to the family may be made through The Tribune-Democrat guestbook.
