JOHNSTOWN — SCHROPP-LINK – Anna Marie (Burkardt), 90, Johnstown, died Dec. 4, 2012. Born April 14, 1922, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Denk) Burkardt. Preceded in death by first husband, Herbert Link, who died in 1967; second husband, Robert N. Schropp, who died in 1995; daughter, Diana Wherry; infant son, Herbert Link; and sisters, Ruth Riley, Martha Safko and Thelma Drummond. Survived by children, Rose, married to William Hubbard, Johnstown; Robert Link, married to Deborah (Babik), South Carolina; Janet, married to Robert Brazier, Virginia; Sharon Link, Johnstown; and Phyllis Link, Pittsburgh; stepchildren, Robert and Gerry Schropp, Harry and Martie Schropp, Duane and Sharon Schropp and Roy and Fran Schropp; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by brothers, Francis Burkardt and Joseph Burkardt, and sisters, Florence Kleinosky, Magdalene Bunk and Dolores Burkardt. Anna Marie retired from the former Johnstown Bank & Trust. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul for many years. Member of the Pinochle Club, Sewing Club, Westmont Hilltop Senior Citizens and was a charter member of St. Clement Catholic Church, where she was active in the choir. She loved music. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Clement Catholic Church, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum. Interment at Grandview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent through ducafuneralhome.com. The family would like to thank LaurelWood Personal Care staff and Grane Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Clement Church in her memory.
