Ronald H. Merritt

BOLIVAR — MERRITT – Ronald H., 72, Bolivar, went home to be with the Lord Dec. 27, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 23, 1940, in Johnstown, son of late Harry W. and Helen M. (Frum) Merritt. Also preceded in death by wife, Judith A. (Hughes) Merritt; brothers, William and twin, Richard Merritt. Survived by daughters, Kelly Pardee, and husband, Michael, Bolivar; Trisha DeCasere, and husband, William, Coopersburg; and Kathy Maynacsik, and husband, Thomas, Brush Valley; grandchildren, Jordan, and wife, Jacqueline; Jessica Pardee; Brendan and Taylar Maynacsik; and William, Mitchell, Wesley and Morgan DeCasere; and sister, Barbara Suschak, and husband, Paul, New Florence. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served with both the 1st and 3rd Marine Divisions in two tours of Vietnam. Life member of American Legion, VFW and DAV. Member of Sunrise Church, Greensburg, and part owner of Four Seasons Barbecue. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. Military graveside honors will be given. Friends received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Pastor David W.
