VINCO — DAVIS – Mary W. (Stancil), 90, Vinco, also Rebekah Manor in Ebensburg, died Jan. 9. 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 27, 1922, in Farmerville, La., daughter of the late Carl V. and Willie (Bearden) Stancil. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd; granddaughter, Erin Davis; and sister, Sallie Benton. Survived by daughter, Lucille, married to Robert Williams, Vinco; son, Carl E., married to the former Mary Ann Yokitis, Buena Vista, Colo.; and three grandchildren whom Mary dearly loved, Bob Williams, married to the former Joann Wolfson, Appomattox, Va.; Laura (Williams), married to Dan Guevara, New Brighton, Pa.; and Dane Davis, Buena Vista, Colo. Mary had five great-grandsons who were the light of her life, Brodie and Bronson Williams and Micah, Tyler and Ethan Guevara. Also survived by sisters, Carline Rowell, Farmerville, La.; and Etta Yarbrough, El Dorado, Ark. Mary was a member of Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundys Corner, for more than 60 years, where she served faithfully in many capacities. Mary was a deaconess for many years, served as an assistant financial secretary and served on the church Caring Commission. Mary loved her family and her church family and will be missed by all. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pike Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Joe Couch, officiating. Interment Pike Brethren Cemetery.
