BOLIVAR — LOVE – Robert A., 94, Bolivar, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 16, 2013, at his home. Born Jan. 24, 1918, in Bolivar, son of the late Huston and Mary Jane Robertson Love. Bob had been employed in his early years as a brakeman on the railroad and retired from Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh after 39 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, and Bolivar American Legion 128. He was an avid hunter and gardener. He loved working on projects around his home. His favorite times were being in the company of his grandsons while telling stories of days gone by. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by beloved wife of 70 years, Elverta Corvi Love, who died in 2011; son, Robert J. Love; and several brothers and sisters. Survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Claudia J. (Roy) Curran, Chicago, Ill.; and his grandchildren, whom he deeply loved, Robert A. and Michael R. Curran, and Lisa Love. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m., the Rev. Robert M. Washko, celebrant. Interment will follow at SS. Simon & Jude Cemetery. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Bolivar Volunteer Fire Company. The J.
