SHEFFIELD LAKE, OHIO — WARGO – Mary Ann (Kirsch), 75, Sheffield Lake, Ohio, formerly of Nicktown, passed away peacefully Jan. 21, 2013, at her home. Born Oct. 8, 1937, in Colver, daughter of Walter and Edith (Downey) Kirsch. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Michael P. Wargo, who died Dec. 5, 2010; brother, Walter J. Kirsch; and infant sister, Consuella. Survived by children, Linda Byrne, Plano, Texas; Ronald Wargo, Sheffield Lake, Ohio; Kathleen Messer, Lorain, Ohio; and Julie Workman, Wilson, N.C.; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Sister of Leonard Kirsch, Dorothy Bellish, Roger Kirsch, Jean Brown, Julia Wagner, Phillip Kirsch, Vici Buterbaugh, Debbie Kovalak and Sharon Terrizzi. A 1955 graduate of Northern Cambria High School, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Michael. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Sheffield, where she was a member of the choir. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Father Jude Brady, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
